Myrtleford Neighbourhood Centre now offers Food Safety courses for Community & Health.

These courses apply to food services workers who work under supervision and within defined guidelines.

It is highly recommended to all workers handling food in workplaces such as Hospitals, Child Care Homes, Nursing Homes, Hostels, Meals on Wheels programs etc.

Food Safety Level 1 – Community & Health Services – HLTFSE001

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to comply with personal hygiene, maintain food safety, contribute to cleanliness of food handling areas and dispose of food.

This course provides complete Food Safety Supervisor training with no pre-requisites, no hidden fees and no classroom attendance. Recognised in all states and territories and valid for all industry sectors, this course meets all legal requirements for Food Safety Supervisor training throughout Australia.
