The big shift
Moving to Australia and then from the city to Myrtleford was an overwhelming and isolating experience for one of our learners.
While living in Melbourne, this learner began studying English as their second language but found it challenging to learn in big classes.
When they called into our Centre one day to see if we could help write orders, we knew they needed our help. We had the perfect solution to boost their skills and confidence where we offer individual support and small literacy and numeracy class.
Faced with a lack of confidence, feeling lonely, and not being understood, they were ready for a change.
After joining the class and receiving the support they found new confidence and skills and went onto study our Customer Service course.
With this new power, motivation and feeling ready to chase their dreams, they applied for their dream job. And….
THEY GOT IT!
